The 2015 KIDS COMIC CON is set for April 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bronx Community College, 181st Street and University Avenue, Bronx, NY. Admission is FREE.

This time children, parents, teachers, and comic fans will enjoy our particular brand of imagination, fun and discovery as we explore this years theme: Comics A Global Superpower.

Many of our guests, exhibits and special panels will focus on comics in other lands. We’ll even have an exhibit of children’s original comics art from the US, Africa, and Ireland.

Another fun addition is a raffle offering some amazing prizes.

And of course there will be cosplayers; popular puppet masters Leslie Carrara-Rudolph and Noel MacNeal from SESAME STREET, BEAR IN THE BIG BLUE HOUSE! Come learn how they work with the Muppets, and much more.

“KCC’s primary goal is to promote reading, creativity, and exploration in kids’ lives,”KCC organizer Alex Simmons stated. “Now more than ever it is imperative that young people embrace a continuous flow of positive ideas, skills, and outlets for their thinking as well as self-esteem. This year we’ve found even more people who share these ideas and goals so come share the day and the magic.”
